Solid and swift lunch offering: Restaurant Il Grissino (11. June 2019)

| July 3, 2019 | 0 Comments

Sometimes simple dishes are the best – the “risottino carciofi e burrata (white wine risotto with artichokes, pancetta and burrata)” (CHF 24.50) was creamy in consistency and the combination of the pancetta which provided the dish with the necessary saltiness and the smooth buttery taste of the burrata was a great combination.

In terms of interior design the place is rather average like a large typical Italian tourist place run by non-Italians but there are actually quite a few Italian waiters. The service is swift and friendly and makes sure you get what you want within a rather short timeframe. Only the fact that a “double espresso” accounts for CHF 7.30 seems a bit exaggerated.
