Mouth-watering delicious veal cordon bleu: Restaurant Köchlistube (8. August 2019)

| September 10, 2019 | 0 Comments

It is years ago since I’ve eaten in the Köchlistube and it was finally time again to pay them a visit. I went for the “gazpacho andaluz” (CHF 12.50) as a starter which was good in terms of flavor and good in terms of consistency but a rather small portion.

The “veal cordon bleu with French fries and vegetables” (CHF 34.50) didn’t look that appealing and while the vegetables and the French fries were rather bland, the veal cordon bleu was actually pretty amazing. The meat was delicious and so was the stuffing! Definitely something you want to try and enjoy when you visit the Köchlistube.

The place is lovely as you get to sit outside (and even though cars are passing in a regular frequency, it is lovely) and the service is very friendly. The waitress did a great job at keeping us happy while waiting for our food (which took a bit too long for my personal gusto but apparently the head chef was on vacation).
