Delicious lunch offering but way too slow service: Restaurant Du Théâtre (9. August 2019)
I am a big fan of the Du Théâtre but I must say that CHF 12.00 for some beans, i.e. “edamame” (CHF 12.00) is a bit of a rip-off even for my standards. Admittedly, the edamame were tasty but I still consider that way too much in terms of what you get for it.
The “donburi lomi-lomi salmon (salmon, tomatoes, cucumber, coriander)” (CHF 36.00) on the other hand is absolutely delicious! A great combination of yummy ingredients complemented by rice making sure you actually have enough for lunch and it is refreshing and tasty. A great lunch offering! However, we had to wait way too long for them to serve it!
The service is very friendly but today wasn’t up to the task as they were somewhat lacking attentiveness and it definitely took them too long to serve the dishes! Still, I will definitely return again to the Du Théâtre!
