Italian cuisine in an Italian atmosphere: Restaurant Don Leone (13. August 2019)

| September 14, 2019 | 0 Comments

The Don Leone is a safe way to get some decent Italian pasta for a reasonable price. Tonight, I went for the “pappardelle alla ‘Don Leone’ (vitello, pomodori secchi, cherry, basilico, tartufo)” (CHF 29.50) which were absolutely good in terms of how they were prepared (perfectly al dente) and in terms of flavor. So, definitely a good selection.

I love the place for its atmosphere as it is always packed and amazingly lively and it really feels like in an Italian restaurant in central Switzerland. The service is friendly and relatively swift. So, all in all, the Don Leone remains a great place to get some Italian food experience.
