Perfect for a swift Italian lunch: Restaurant Il Brigante (22. August 2019)

| September 28, 2019 | 0 Comments

What I like about the Il Brigante is the speed of service for lunch. As soon as you’re seated, the waitress shows up and takes up your order. The menu salad has a nice variety of ingredients and is – frankly – drenched in salad sauce (which is a definitely over the top).

The “pizza with anchovies and olives” (CHF 16.00) was simple but good as the crust was thin, the dough was tasty, and there were enough anchovies for my personal gusto.

Atmosphere-wise, the Il Brigante isn’t really anything spectacular but really just a functional lunch restaurant. In terms of service, they do a great job though. They are super swift and remain incredibly friendly throughout it. Only when it comes to paying the bill, the head waitress isn’t that swift and you have to wait quite a bit until she shows up with the bill. As the place is usually quite crowded, I would recommend you to book the table in advance for lunch.
