Surprisingly amazing lunch offering: Restaurant Più (16. September 2019)
I suppose the last time I’ve been to the Più was in 2016, so it was about time to pay this place another visit. As a starter I went for the soup of the day which was a “lentil soup with crostini” (CHF 5.00) and which was absolutely good and surprisingly thick (how I like it).
I thought that I should start the week with something light, so I decided to have a salad called “calamari, avocado, oranges, red chicorée, rocket salad, red onions” (CHF 24.00). The salad was really good as it was actually light, it was aromatic, it was diverse, and last but not least, the calamari weren’t chewy as you – unfortunately – experience so often! Only the fact that we had to wait quite a bit between the starter and the main was a negative point here.
The place gets full at around midday so it is better if you come slightly earlier and order your stuff already before the majority of the people have shown up. In terms of atmosphere, the place is nice but some of the tables are crammed together quite a bit leaving you almost no privacy. Still, all in all, the Più is a good place for lunch!
