Perfect for people watching but small menu: Restaurant Geniesserei am Markt (12. October 2019)

| November 9, 2019 | 0 Comments

There is a little market in the middle of Graz which is absolutely lovely as all the market booths are in the middle where you can get fresh vegetables, cakes, and all your heart wants and is looking for. The whole thing is surrounded by permanent little restaurant-like establishment like the “Geniesserei am Markt”. It is very much recommended to book a table in advance as the place is super crowded – at least when the weather is as nice as it was when I was there!

It is the perfect place for people watching so you just want to sit outside and enjoy! I went for a “market salad” (EUR 5.50) which was refreshing and quite tasty all in all.

What was not entirely to my liking was the fact that the menu was incredibly small and, therefore, you didn’t really have many choices. Furthermore, while the waitress was incredibly friendly, she was also not very efficient making here walk and move more than necessary! But, all in all, I liked the Geniesserei am Markt quite a bit – mostly for its lovely atmosphere!
