Great drinks but weak service: Dry Bar @ Hotel Maria Cristina, a Luxury Collection Hotel, San Sebastián (16. November 2019)

| December 10, 2019 | 0 Comments

The Dry Bar is actually quite a nice place overall – at least in terms of the quality of the drinks they offer as well as the atmosphere. I went for some drink of which I cannot remember the name but it was definitely delicious.

More fun is the “Fugu” – it tastes nice but it especially looks nice. So, worth trying just for the looks of it!

What isn’t that great about it is the fact that you definitely have to wait way too long in order to get your drink. The staff is friendly but also incredibly long. I had a voucher to get some champagne on the house – earlier that day and to fill that flute it took them a solid 20 minutes! Not sure why one would need so much time for that but it definitely took too long. What is nice though: you get chocolates if you have drinks after midnight.

So, all in all, the Dry Bar is a lovely place but you definitely cannot be in a rush when you order your drinks as the staff definitely is not up to speed!
