Not only good for dinner but also great for lunch: Restaurant netts Schützengarten (19. November 2019)
So far, I have only tried the netts for dinners – finally, it was time to give it a shot for lunch and I must say – despite the fact that the prices are at the upper end of what I consider acceptable – the food is great and the service is lovely. I went for the soup of the day which was a “broccoli soup” which was fine.
The “veal cordon bleu” (CHF 45.00) on the other and looked a bit like it would disappoint me at first – but, luckily, it tasted all the better. There was enough space to host quite a bit of cheese which made it a delicious bite. The vegetables on the other hand weren’t that amazing but with some salt and pepper, it did the trick.
The “French fries” were – all in all – okay as well. They could have been salted a bit more and fried a bit crispier. But okay.
The place is nice and while I was rather afraid in the beginning that the serving would take way too long (as it took a bit in the beginning until we got first attended), it actually all turned out to be fine. So, I can recommend the netts for lunch – make sure to book in advance though as it is completely booked out for lunches – as it seems.
