An option for dinner in the vicinity to Theater 11: Restaurant Bits & Bites @ Holiday Inn (21. December 2019)
Now, honestly, the Bits & Bites is probably not a place I’d usually visit but given I was going to see “The Book of Mormons” in the Theater 11 in Oerlikon which is right across the corner and there aren’t too many options around to get something to eat beforehand, the Bits & Bites it was. I went for the “Stir fried mie noodle pan with spicy tomato soy sauce” (CHF 20.00) which was eatable. Frankly, not really what I’d call one of the best dishes but it was generally tasty.
The place isn’t too atmospheric really but the service is friendly and attentive making sure you feel comfortable. What was great on the one hand side but also absolutely surprising was the fact that the food was served within 10 minutes after we had placed our order. Which seems a bit too quick for pasta, vegetables, and a whole hamburger with fries. Admittedly, all of it doesn’t need hours if you have your mise en place in order. Still, I was surprised! So, if you are going to a musical in the Theater 11, the Bits & Bites is an option (in my humble opinion).
