Decent breakfast selection right at the beach: Salt Restaurant & Beach Club @ W Barcelona (11. January 2020)
What I always like when staying in a W is the breakfast selection. I was told that the breakfast is served in two locations, the Salt as well as the Barra de Tapas and that the offer is the same. Only the next day, I found out that it isn’t entirely. The selection in the Barra de Tapas is actually better than in the Salt, however, you will find everything you need here as well ranging from a variety of breads and pastries …
… to waffles and pancakes with a huge selection of toppings …
… scrambled egg and bacon …
… a variety of juices …
… yogurt and fresh fruit …
… nuts and salmon …
… cold cuts and cheeses …
… as well as more cold cuts. And you can even order a couple of warm dishes which are brought to your table.
So, all in all, the offer at the Salt restaurant is good but the service could be a bit more attentive in my opinion. And the atmosphere also isn’t that appealing.
