Decent airport food – but just that: Restaurant TGI Friday’s (12. January 2020)
As I somehow hadn’t managed to eat something during the day, I was super hungry before take off and given the food selection at BCN isn’t overwhelming, I decided to go for TGI Friday’s which offers the “Friday’s Signature Burger (we’ve got the recipe for happiness: two 100g burger patties with our Fridays Signature Glaze, melted cheddar and provolone, crunchy bacon, caramelized onion, mayonnaise and lettuce)” (EUR 13.95) which was served within about 7-10 minutes after having placed my order including the fries. The burger was quite okay but I hadn’t been asked if I wanted it ‘medium’ or well done so it was closer to well done which doesn’t make it all that enjoyable to me.
The place is simple and not really that appealing but I suppose that’s just normal for an airport restaurant. The service was friendly and helpful though and you got what you wanted within a few minutes which is really something I appreciated. If you’re hungry in BCN, you can try the TGI Friday’s.
