Amazing lunch and service experience: Restaurant O’Premier @ Hotel Metropol (13. January 2020)
It’s about three years ago since I’ve been to the Restaurant O’Premier and frankly, I wonder why, given the O’Premier is actually making sure you have a great lunch experience. I went for the menu of the day (CHF 38.00) which started with a “roasted cauliflower soup” which was incredibly tasty and also quite a generous portion.
The “roasted veal schnitzel served with Marsala jus, white wine risotto and market vegetables” was great. Not only in terms of quality of the meat but also the sauce was absolutely delicious. The risotto was a bit under cooked and the bite of the risotto grains was a bit too firm. Else, definitely a great meal!
For dessert, they served a “plum mousse with fresh strawberries” which was a bit too dense for my gusto but definitely good as it wasn’t too sweet either.
The place itself is quite lovely in terms of interior decoration and the service is incredibly attentive and friendly making sure that you have your meal and drinks within no time – and all that with a very professional attitude, therefore, definitely a place I can highly recommend for lunch!
