Close to perfect business lunch experience: Restaurant terrasse (31. January 2020)
I just figured again that the terrasse is actually quite a nice restaurant for lunches – the place is nice, the service is friendly and attentive (at least as long as the place isn’t completely packed). I went for the “Tom Kha Gai soup (Coriander, chicken cubes)” (CHF 6.00) as a starter which was a nice little initiator for the palate – and had a pleasant size (not an overly large portion and also for a fair price) – I liked the combination of the little hint of spice with a rather generous adding of chicken cubes.
The “beef haunch steak served with Parmesan risotto, beans and marsala jus” (CHF 36.00) was decent. The quality of the meat was largely good, the Parmesan risotto was smooth and rich and the beans on the side gave the dish the little ‘healthy’ vegetable twist.
All in all, the terrasse remains a reliable source for good business lunches – definitely recommended to book a table in advance as else you won’t stand a chance to score one.
