Decent lunch offering in a nice atmosphere: Restaurant Die Rüsterei (11. February 2020)

| March 14, 2020 | 0 Comments

The salad which was served as a starter was rather rich and luscious in terms of variety of ingredients and the salad sauce was actually quite delicious too.

The “veal meatloaf, wild mushrooms, mashed potatoes, mushroom cream sauce” (CHF 38.00) was quite a big portion – the meat loaf was about 3cm thick which is probably the thickest meat loaf I have had so far. The good thing about it was the quality of the dish as the meat loaf with the mushrooms and the sauce were a great combination in terms of different flavors and textures.

The place is lovely and the interior is quite appealing as it is spacious and the ceiling is quite high. The waitress was absolutely friendly and professional and was even joking in a nice way in the very end. All in all, die Rüsterei is a bit outside of the city center but is absolutely worth the travel as it doesn’t take long, there is enough parking space in the Sihlcity and in the end, the food is good and the service is friendly.
