Great location but overpriced omelets: Restaurant Bohemia (20. February 2020)
Breakfast for champions is what you get at the Bohemia – but for Swiss prices! I went for the “Havanna omelet (chorizo, tomato cubes, cheddar, sour cream, home-made bread)” (CHF 22.00) which was quite a large omelet and which was also rather tasty all in all. However, CHF 22.00 for an omelet (I mean, it’s a damn egg in the end!!!) just is off!
The “small breakfast combo (home-made bread, toast, scrambled egg, tête de Moine, ham, salami, bircher muesli, butter, jam, orange juice, coffee or tea)” (CHF 26.00) is definitely a better bargain for the price and generally also good in terms of quality.
The place is atmospheric and generally nice and the waitress did an amazing job at being helpful and friendly and making sure we had everything we needed despite ordering over and over again (a coffee, an espresso, etc.) but she never lost her calm and remained friendly throughout the whole breakfast session. So definitely thumbs up for that! I can recommend the Bohemia for breakfast – however, not so much to order an omelet!
