Delicious and light Asian lunch offering: Restaurant Metropol (10. June 2020)
I have walked by the Restaurant Metropol many times before and the restaurant was recommended to me a couple of times, however, so far I never had managed to pay it a visit, so it was finally about time. Booking in advance in these times is crucial to save a spot for lunch. I went for the “apple celery soup” (CHF 10.00) as a starter which was a surprisingly large portion. The soup was refreshing and smooth due to the sweetness of the apple.
The “tuna ceviche (tuna, coco water, chili, lime)” (CHF 19.00) was more a starter size than anything else, so with that alone you would not feel like you have eaten enough. However, the flavor and taste of the dish was exquisite – the tuna was rich and aromatic and the smooth combination of flavors in which it was served, was truly delicious.
The service was friendly and swift – and made sure you’d have everything you wanted. And even the bill got delivered quickly to the table which is a huge plus for a business lunch. So, I can definitely recommend you to try the Metropol restaurant for lunch.
