Not so easy to find a decent place for breakfast: Restaurant Le Compas (20. June 2020)

| June 26, 2020 | 0 Comments

Finding a typical nice French café for breakfast on a Saturday morning is not as trivial as I had initially thought. The Le Compas then turned out to be quite nice and I went for the “extra breakfast (double espresso, fresh orange juice, farmhouse bread, butter, jam, mixed omelette)” (EUR 14.00) which is a good deal in terms of what you get for the price. However, that they charge EUR 5.60 for a small bottle of Perrier is – in my eyes – a complete rip-off!

The place is nice but the tables are super tiny again, so you don’t really have much space to sit down and enjoy your breakfast lusciously! However, the service is friendly and swift, and again, even speaks English! So, all in all, if you’re looking for a swift and decent breakfast for a fair price, the Le Compas is the right place to go to.
