When the service is really poor and the food below-average: Restaurant 19 @ Migros Golfpark Otelfingen (7. July 2020)
Of course, there are huge differences when you eat at a Migros Golf course restaurant or a private golf course restaurant – however, there are also huge differences at the same place, highly dependent on the waiter who attends you. This evening things were on the very slow side. It might have been due to the relatively late time that things were on the slower side but waiting 15 minutes for a menu and another 10 minutes for the drink seems a bit off – at least in my view. And whenever we waived at the waiter, he’d say “I’m there in a minute” and it always turned out to be way more than a minute. Not really how you want things to be.
However, the “GPO Fish & Chips (fish crispers, sauce tatar, Pommes Frites)” (CHF 17.00) was a very regular portion of fish and chips but below-average in taste.
All in all, Restaurant 19 is usually decent, however, it is not really the place to be. So if you have a bit of time, drive to the city of Zurich and find yourself another place to enjoy dinner.
