Super heavy but delicious brunch offering: Restaurant Brunch & Cake (18. July 2020)

| July 26, 2020 | 0 Comments

Finding a breakfast place was actually not as easy as I had expected – however, after some time, I managed to find one and it was quite a good one. There was a line and you had to wait for a bit until one of the tables was available. In any case, it’s worth the wait. I went for the “big brekkie burrito (hand-made flour tortilla, chipotle chicken, organic pork sausage, English cheddar, guacamole, sweet potato and jalapeños with scrambled eggs. Big in size and flavour)” (EUR 8.90) which is obviously an abomination when it comes to ‘Mexican’ food but it was delicious nevertheless. You had everything you wanted and needed in that dish.

What is even better are the drinks. I went for the “superfood smoothie tropical (mango, passion fruit, orange)” (EUR 5.85) which was refreshing and nice.

As well as the “Inmuno (carrot, orange, ginger, mint)” (EUR 5.00) which was enjoyable too. They really know how to make their juices.

Even the “Cortado” (EUR 1.60) was exquisite. If you are lucky, you can score a table outside and take some of the sun in which makes it even more enjoyable than just sitting inside.

The waiter was friendly and helpful at all times – just as it was the table which was furthest from the entrance of the place, it sometimes took him a bit to show up. I was impressed though by how quick the food was prepared and delivered. Ideally, you book a table in advance if you want to make sure you’d avoid the waiting time and skip the queue.
