Delicious ice cream by Jordi Roca: Rocambolesc Barcelona (18. July 2020)

| July 27, 2020 | 0 Comments

When I was last in Barcelona, I discovered the Rocambolesc and it was a very pleasant experience. Therefore, I decided to pay this place another visit and it was a good idea. The concept is rather simple. You pick how you want your icecream served, then you pick which ice cream flavors (there are only four) you want and then you add the ‘toppings’.

The selection of topics is quite impressive – I mean, you get to pick from 24 different toppings and you’re allowed to get three different ones on your ice cream.

I went for the “baked apple” and “frozen yogurt” (EUR 3.75) with three toppings which was absolutely delicious. I mean, you get a sugar rush as it is incredibly sweet but it is also mouth-wateringly good.

When you look for ice cream somewhere near las Ramblas, you should definitely try the Rocambolesc and not one of the ice cream waggons which are located on the street.
