A place where you wouldn’t expect to find a lovely garden: Restaurant Sternen Albisrieden (22. July 2020)
Although I have driven by the Sternen Albisrieden more than 100 times over the past few years, it never crossed my mind to get in there and have a meal. Luckily, a friend of mine suggested having lunch here and it was a surprisingly good decision. I went for the “veal cordon bleu (stuffed with ham and cheese from Appenzell)” (CHF 42.90) which was quite a massive portion. Definitely enough so you wouldn’t be starving after lunch. Furthermore, the meat was good and the stuffing was plentiful.
They have quite a large garden in the back of the restaurant which makes the restaurant even more appealing as the tables are shadowed by trees and it creates a comfortable atmosphere despite the fact that everything is located quite close to the streets. The waitress was friendly and helpful but not that attentive so one definitely had to be patient.
