Perfect for a decent and swift lunch meal: Restaurant Brasserie Federal (28. July 2020)

| August 1, 2020 | 0 Comments

What I like about the Brasserie Federal is the fact that they serve hearty Swiss dishes quite quickly and make sure you won’t spend hours and hours waiting for your dish. When I sat down, it took a bit until a waiter showed up, but once he realised I was there, everything went quite quickly. I went for the “perch crisps in beer dough from Wädibräu, served with salted potatoes and sauce tartare” (CHF 24.50) which was a surprisingly large portion – and even the sauce tartare was enough. The food wasn’t outstanding but definitely sound and good.

All in all, the lunch offer at the Brasserie Federal is functional, swift, and generally tasty. So, all in all, I can recommend you to eat here if you’re a bit in a rush. The “home-made ice tea” (0.5L, CHF 7.00) was fine too but a bit expensive for what you get.
