Friendly service making it a pleasant experience: Restaurant Werdguet (12. August 2020)
The restaurant Werdguet is a very Swiss restaurant somehow – and it isn’t at the same time. If you look at the place and the menu, it is very Swiss. If you look at the host, Amalia, a Cuban, it isn’t so Swiss. But that’s exactly the combination which makes it a lovely place. They do not only offer a regular à la carte menu, but there is also a weekly menu which is even available in the evening. The “salad” is rich in thus far as you get a bit of everything – green leaves, carrots, and tomatoes. The salad dressing, on the other hand, is rather standard and not really that appealing.
The “perch crisps with French fries and sauce tartare” (~CHF 36.00 incl. salad) were good. I mean, the portion was relatively small but it turned out that it was actually enough with the salad upfront.
The Werdguet is really a great place to eat something simple and delicious in a friendly environment with caring and jovial staff, making sure your experience will be an enjoyable one.
