Lovely view of Lake Zug: Restaurant Theater Casino Zug (18. August 2020)

| August 20, 2020 | 0 Comments

Part of each lunch menu is a bowl of mixed salad with two dressings (regular French and French with horseradish) and some bread. The salad is absolutely good as it has tomatoes, sprouts, green leaves, carrots, and breadsticks. So, really a lovely combination of flavours and ingredients making it a perfect start into lunch.

On top of that, the salad is served with some garnishments like different seeds (sunflower and pumpkin), grated Parmesan cheese, and bread crumbs which allows you to finish your salad according to your gusto.

The “pulled veal burger from the smoker (with dried tomatoes in burger rum, Romana salad, raspberry gin BBQ sauce, and sweet potatoes fries, sour cream dip)” (CHF 37.00) looked like a bit a tiny portion but turned out to be quite satisfying after all. The sweet potato fries were great but could have been a tiny bit crunchier. The burger was actually quite great although served in a way that it was almost impossible to eat it with your hands. The buns were great in taste and had a lovely crunchiness to them.

The place itself is quite lovely as it is located right at Lake Zug and you have a great view of the lake.

The service is friendly and helpful and also rather swift in bringing you what you’ve ordered. All in all, the Restaurant Theater Casino Zug is kind of a hidden gem as the place doesn’t look too inviting from the outside, however, it is actually absolutely lovely inside once you’ve found the restaurant. If you want to make sure to have a table on the terrace, I’d highly recommend you to book a table in advance.
