Simple and traditional Austrian dishes: Restaurant Zur eisernen Zeit (28. August 2020)

| September 5, 2020 | 0 Comments

When you are in Austria, there are a couple of things you absolutely have to try. One of them is “blood sausage with fresh horseradish” (or as it is called in Austrian “Blunz’ngröstl mit frischem Kren”) (EUR 8.90) which is basically a very intense but also delicious dish. Especially if you like stronger flavors like blood sausage.

The salad which comes with it is rather simple and drenched in standard salad dressing – nothing fancy or spectacular but okay.

The Naschmarkt, where the restaurant is located, is an area worth visiting in any case as it has a lot of food stalls which offer everything from Asian to typical Austrian cuisine. So, once this whole pandemic is over, I can definitely recommend you to pay this area a visit.
