Lovely view by Lake Constanze but semi-efficient service: Restaurant Schiff (12. June 2021)
The “Swiss beef tatar” (CHF 25.00) which was served with a few greens on the side was very enjoyable. It was seasoned perfectly, slightly spicy, as requested – and was prepared in a lovely way.
But what is greater than the food even is the view right at Lake Constanze – even with sub-optimal weather. I mean, how can you potentially say no to this view?
What wasn’t that perfect though was the service since they took quite a bit to bring the menu and then to serve the drinks and the dishes. All in all, the Schiff is a nice place if you’re in the area and serves good tatar – not really a place I’d go to visit specifically though.
