Simple yet tasty dishes and swift service: Restaurant Xaver’s (15. June 2021)

| July 13, 2021 | 0 Comments

If you want to eat something at Xaver’s, you need to be there quite early since they shut the kitchen at around 9pm. However, luckily, I was there shortly before for a quick break and was able to get the “asparagus cream soup” (EUR 7.00) as a starter which was decent.

The “bio beef tatar, confit egg yolk, horseradish, crostini” (EUR 20.50) was intense in terms of flavor (not sure I needed the horseradish) but just a sound, simple and good dish. Nothing more than that. Nothing less than that.

The place is located at a corner of two intersecting streets which makes it a quite busy place so it’s not really perfect to relax and discuss. But due to the fact that the service is generally swift and friendly, it is still okay since you’re not kind of trapped there for ages (just referring to surroundings here) due to slow services. So, all in all, it’s okay.
