A good successor of the ‘Grill Royal’: Restaurant Italofritzen (4. July 2021)
It is years ago since I’ve been in the same location. Not the same place since it used to be a different one, but the same location. Now, the Italofritzen is actually quite nice since it allows you to sit close to the river Spree and enjoy the view. Other than that the service is also friendly and helpful and makes sure you get what you’ve ordered within a few minutes.
I went for the “caprese bufala (tomatoes with mozzarella di bufala and basil)” (EUR 12.50) which was much better than expected, since the tomatoes were actually aromatic and the mozzarella di bufala was rich in flavor.
The “homemade lemonade (lemon – mint)” (EUR 4.90) wasn’t entirely persuading but still okay. So, all in all, the dishes served are fine, the view is nice, the service is friendly, and the prices are okay. If you want to sit by the river Spree and enjoy the view, the Italofritzen is actually a good choice.
