Decent breakfast but you can still feel the Corona effects: Breakfast Restaurant @ Le Méridien Munich (24. July 2021)
The breakfast buffet at the breakfast restaurant at the Le Méridien Munich is definitely not at the level it was prior to Corona. You get a bit of everything like bread and orange juice …
… a few cold cuts and cheeses …
… some tasty sweets and jams …
… as well as fresh fruit and vegetables ..
… and some more heavy foods like sausages, meatballs or egg dishes. However, the selection is rather limited and, therefore, a bit disappointing! After all, the breakfast I’m used from Le Méridien’s is much more extensive and somewhat more enjoyable, respectively.
However, the waiter was friendly and attentive and you get your tea within a few minutes after you’ve placed your order. Not a given these days anymore since you’re often directed to “help yourself at the buffet”. Not in this case – so, service still ‘works’ perfectly but the selection is a bit disappointing. However, if you have a high status with Marriott Bonvoy or the breakfast is already included in your rate, then it’s more than fine to get breakfast there.
