Industrialized but tasty Italian food: Restaurant L’Osteria Künstlerhaus (25. July 2021)
Somehow the L’Osteria seems to be the place to be on a Sunday evening – the place was completely packed and it took quite a bit of queuing before I was finally able to get a table. I went for the “Crema di Pomodoro” (EUR 5.50) as a starter which turned out to be better than expected. I had, somehow, expected a watery tomato soup but it was junky and good in taste.
Luckily, the waiter was rather attentive and made sure that the main was going to be served within a few minutes after the soup was provided. The main this evening was “Orecchiette di Manzo al Limone” (EUR 12.50) which sounded like an interesting combination of flavors – and it was. But in a pleasant way.
All in all, the L’Osteria is a place which offers nice dishes in a nice setting for an absolutely fair price. However, it’s industrialized in terms of production and processes – which makes it efficient and the food is still good. So not too bad a combination after all.
