Amazing view and perfect for a lunch break: Restaurant Clouds Bistro (30. July 2021)

If you manage to book a table by the window so you have a view of Lake Zurich, then that’s kind of the jackpot for lunch. If not, and you have a table facing the other direction, that’s still quite fine. I went for the “Entrecôte Café de Paris” (CHF 48.00) which was perfectly pre-cut, perfectly cooked to temperature as requested and came with good vegetables. But, if you look at the plate, it’s kind of a sad sight to only get that little.

The “Pommes Allumettes”, of course, are part of the meal and also good but I was missing ketchup or some kind of sauce for which you had to ask specifically on top.

The service actually does a great job. They are super friendly, super attentive, and make sure your beverages and the like are brought quickly to your table – not a given and definitely not something you can experience in all restaurants.

Admittedly, the lunch experience at the Clouds Bistro is not necessarily cheap but the place is nice and the view is great – so pretty much a good bargain.

All in all, the restaurant Clouds Bistro is definitely something I can recommend for lunch. The only thing I didn’t spot is a lunch menu which is kind of a pity since you’ll end up at CHF 50.00+ for sure for lunch which is of course not exactly on the cheap side. Still, definitely recommended – just make sure to book your table in advance.
