Nice breakfast but somehow unusual location: Lobby Restaurant @ Palacio Santa Clara, Autograph Collection (11. September 2021)
Not sure if it’s due to Corona or if it’s due to the actual hotel layout but there is no breakfast buffet in the Palacio Santa Clara which was annoying me a tiny bit at first but then I figured that the breakfast selection is actually quite decent and the breakfast is good too, so it turned out to be much better than initially expected. I went for the “assorted fruit plate”, the “artisan toasted bread”, the “cured meat plate” and the “assorted cheeses plate” as well as for an “omelet with ham and cheese” (no picture) and must say that it did the trick in terms of amount and taste of the breakfast.
The place is generally nice but it’s still a bit special, at least for me, to sit in the lobby and enjoying your breakfast there. The service personnel is super friendly and helpful and, on average, rather swift too in serving what you order. All in all, if you stay at the Palacio Santa Clara (and I can definitely recommend that you do so), you should also enjoy the breakfast.
