A typical French bistro experience – in all senses: Restaurant Café le Progrès (26. September 2021)
A typical French bistro experience is what you get at the Café le Progrès – very simple interior design, not really a lot of space since the tables are super close to each other and there are quite a few tables crammed together, and swift but not really friendly service. That’s a typical French bistro experience to me. And that’s what you get here.
The “beef tatar with French Fries” (EUR 14.50) was served surprisingly quick. Only ~5 minutes after we had placed our orders, the dish was served and the portion was rather generous. Definitely way too much for me personally but admittedly, a good beef tatar and also delicious French Fries. Admittedly, they were very well fried and some of them probably more than once but they were still delicious.
Overall, if you’re looking for a quick bite, the Café le Progrès is definitely something I can recommend you. If you’re looking for a memorable experience with friendly service and an amazing experience, then I would not recommend the Café le Progrès.
