Still the same as 8 years ago and still good: Restaurant Opus (28. September 2021)
It is years ago (2013) since I’ve last been to the restaurant Opus and it hasn’t really changed at all. For me, this restaurant is the restaurant equivalent of ‘never touch a running system’. The place has exactly the same layout and seems to have remained the same in terms of friendliness of the staff, quality of the service, price performance ratio and quality of the food. If you go for the lunch menu (CHF 23.90) you get a bowl of soup to share which was good in terms of flavor.
And you also get a bowl of salad to share – which is not only generous but also good in terms of the ingredients provided including the dressing which is actually super enjoyable.
Last but not least, I went for something which I would usually not have gone for, a “celery steak on beet root bulgur with almond yogurt sauce” and while it sounded funny and dangerously healthy, it was actually surprisingly good and surprisingly filling. Not something I would have expected but was all the happier that it was the case.
The place is simple in terms of interior design but still appealing and the service does its part so you will enjoy the experience even more. All in all, the Restaurant Opus remains a safe bet for a business lunch and can definitely be recommended.
