A great lunch bargain where you’d not expect it: QN Restaurant (6. October 2021)
Sometimes you’re positively surprised by experiences in places where you wouldn’t expect too much. Why is that? Simply because the place is not easy to be found and looks relatively funny from the outside at first. But when you enter you’re actually welcomed into a nice atmosphere by friendly staff – and the tables are set in a way so you actually have quite some space between the single tables.
As a starter I went for the “pumpkin curry soup” which was thick and rich in terms of flavor – just as it should be.
The main course today were “veal chops served with mashed potatoes and beans” (CHF 28.00) which was an absolutely decent but very simple typical Swiss dish. Enjoyable? Yes. Something which blows your mind? No. But definitely a very solid lunch offering for a more than fair price.
Honestly, I probably would never have come by the QN restaurant if it wasn’t the recommendation of my lunch company – but I must say that I was super positively surprised since the place is nice and the food was great. So, all in all, if you’re in the area, I can definitely recommend to visit the QN restaurant for a swift, friendly, and tasty lunch.
