Decent breakfast selection but far from outstanding service: Restaurant 45 Grill & Health @ Grand Hotel Suisse Majestic, Autograph Collection (10. October 2021)

The breakfast selection at the Restaurant 45 in the Grand Hotel Suisse Majestic is decent – but nothing more. You find a bit of everything like some sausages, tomatoes, vegetables, egg …

… hash browns and very good bacon …

… as well as fruit, eggs, cheese, cold cuts, salmon …

… different kinds of breads, juices …

… and if you actively ask for it, a “ham and cheese omelet” which took them quite a bit to prepare. While the place is nice and if you manage to get a table by the window you definitely should since the view is lovely (even if the weather ain’t all that great) the service isn’t really existent. The restaurant manager was discussing things with the team instead of attending the guests – not really what one would wish for when it comes to such a high quality hotel (since the Junior Executive Suite is absolutely lovely).

All in all, it’s fine to have breakfast at the Restaurant 45 when you’re staying at the Grand Hotel Suisse Majestic but it’s not like you definitely must go here for breakfast since it’s good, but nothing more than that.
