Exquisitely friendly service and a decent breakfast selection: [m]eatery bar + restaurant @ Gewandhaus Dresden, Autograph Collection (16. October 2021)
When you stay at the Gewandhaus in Dresden, you should definitely give the breakfast a try since they have a decent offering ranging from cold cuts, various salads, fresh vegetables to …
… fish and cheeses …
… a selection of teas …
… yogurts …
… fresh fruit and salad …
… a variety of breads, sweets, as well as juices (I especially liked their banana juice) …
… eggs, bacon, sausages, and mushrooms. On top of that you get according to your request egg dishes (I went for the ham and cheese omelet which was absolutely enjoyable).
The room isn’t all too big in terms of number of tables but enough so it was never overly crowded. Furthermore, the services is actually outstanding, i.e., they are super friendly and attentive and make sure you have everything you need and want within a few minutes only. Only for the egg dishes you have to wait a bit, like so often, but they are still swift enough so you can actually enjoy your egg dish during regular breakfast times.
