A great place to stop for a couple of drinks: Restaurant Mythos Roma-Cibeles (30. November 2021)

| February 23, 2022 | 0 Comments

Sometimes you just wand to do a short break to have a drink and something small to eat – and if that’s the case the Fuente de Cibeles is a great place for doing so. There are a number of restaurants around the fountain and it’s a nice area in Roma where you can walk around. The Mythos is a Greek restaurant and it offers nice dishes like the “melitsanosalata (dip de berenjena al horno, aceite de oliva extra virgen, perejil y un toque de ajo) (150gr)” (110 MXN) and they charge you 25 MXN if you want some “Extra Pan Pita”.

What they are good at though are the drinks. I liked my “Oaxaca Fresco (Bruxo Inicial, jarabe nautral, jugo de naranja, maracuyá y sal de gusano)” (185 MXN) although I didn’t really need the maggot salt around the glass rim but it was overall a tasty drink.

The “Botanist Pimienta Rosa (ginebra The Botanist, frambuesa, piminienta rosa, jugo de toronja, limón amarillo)” (210 MXN) was super light and refreshing but actually had some surprising intensity.

The place is really nice and spacious and reminds you of a restaurant on a Greek island …

They also make sure that you’re sufficiently attended and the waiters are checking on a frequent basis that you’re taken care of and have everything you want and need which is very much close to perfect service.

All in all, the Mythos Roma-Cibeles is definitely a good place where you can easily do a short stop before continuing your stroll across Roma.
