Not really what you expect of a good restaurant: Restaurant La Glorieta @ Sheraton La Caleta (7. December 2021)
When you’re home late and just want to have a small bite, then sometimes a hotel restaurant isn’t all too bad. The La Glorieta offered that which was what I was looking for. However, unfortunately, the service wasn’t up to the task. Firstly, they aren’t really attentive and it took quite a while until someone noticed and finally seating took place. After some more waiting and asking for a menu and a heater (which never came), I placed my order. Luckily, the food was served relatively swiftly at least.
The “crispy chicken bao bread (crispy chicken bao bread with chipotle sauce and aioli)” (EUR 17.00) was surprisingly good. The fries were way too soggy for my personal gusto, but the crispy chicken was actually quite enjoyable.
However, given the overall experience at the La Glorieta, I would not recommend dining here again.
