Great if you love entrecôte for lunch: Restaurant Wine & Beef Fusterie (6. January 2022)
It’s great when you find out that literally in front of your workplace, there is a restaurant which offers a nice lunch menu with a focus on beef. What you get is a “menu salad” which is nice in terms of the salad dressing.
And then, you go for the “entrecôte (180gr) with ‘Wine & Beef’ sauce, French fries, and green beans” (CHF 43.00). The meat is great, the sauce is even better, and the fries are nicely crispy too. You wonder though how this little piece of meat is supposed to be 180gr – and it turns out that it isn’t.
Because there is a second round where you get another piece of meat of the same size. Which is, I think, a lovely concept since you get a fresh plate with warm food again. And it doesn’t feel like you’re gonna be starving after.
Looking at the price, one must also say that it’s absolutely fair. On top of that, the place is nice, but simple, in terms of interior design. And the service is friendly and relatively swift when it comes to bringing you more sauce or an additional beverage. So, all in all, the Wine & Beef Fusterie is definitely a good choice for lunch.
