A place to party but not a place to come for the food: Restaurant Mon Paris! (9. March 2022)

| April 27, 2022 | 0 Comments

What you find at the Mon Paris! is simple but enjoyable. The restaurant is basically divided in two parts – an actual restaurant inside and kind of a bar like area outside. Therefore, the food you get when you sit outside is very limited. However, there are a couple of good things you can enjoy. We went for an “assortiment grande (charcuteries Italiennes)” (EUR 29.00) which had a nice selection of different cold cuts served with butter and bread. Nothing spectacular but not too bad to create a basis for upcoming drinks.

The “Tartine Mon Paris! au jambon à la truffe (parfumé aux morilles, pain Jean-Luc Poujauran, Jambon Rostello, Ememental Français)” (EUR 17.00) is something which, apparently, the place is kind of ‘famous’ for. It’s really just kind of a pizza (not really but yes) with ham and truffle. Probably more ‘fake truffle’ than actual truffle but it was still not too bad.

Last but not least, the “croquetas à la cecina (croquetas frites à la cecina de boeuf)” (EUR 15.50) were okay. They are not comparable to actual croquetas you get in Spain but they are enjoyable overall.

Since the place was super crowded, you had to be quite patient to get what you want – since the waiter was actually not really swift. However, they are friendly making sure you get what you need – if you have the time to wait. All in all, decent – but nothing more than that.
