A nice place for drinks – if you’re patient: Cua de Gall (26. March 2022)
The Cua de Gall has quite a good rating when you check the place out on Google – and I must say, largely rightly so. They offer a selection of nice and interesting drinks (unfortunately, they don’t have an online menu and I forgot to take a picture of the card) but they were definitely nice. And they are super fair in terms of price (all around EUR 8.00).
The “Sakura” (EUR 8.50) which is a mixture of sake and some kind of lychee juice was very enjoyable and quite delicious. Not really a “light one” since it had quite some alcohol. But other than that, definitely recommended.
The place is simple in terms of interior design and not really that exciting – but it’s functional and there are two areas so there is enough for everyone to sit down. The waitress was running the place alone with no additional support which led to the fact that you have to be quite a bit patient to order and get your drinks. Unless you’re the first one to order, the waiting time is substantial. But, the drinks are good and the waitress is friendly. I haven’t tried other places in Girona really but it’s definitely decent for drinks.
