A great place to have lunch in the little backyard patio: Restaurant Bernerhof (31. May 2022)
It’s approximately 3 years ago since I’ve last been to the Restaurant Bernerhof – and what I was not aware of, is that they have a nice patio in the back of the restaurant where you can actually sit outside.
They are offering a generous and delicious lunch menu (CHF 28.00) which started this day with a “potato flower cream” which was rich and absolutely enjoyable.
The “risotto, vino bianco, with white premium asparagus from Zurich” looked lovely and wasn’t bad in terms of combination of flavours – what was a bit of a disappointment though was that the risotto was quite watery and not as creamy as you wish and expect a risotto to be.
The place is lovely and the waitress was super friendly and helpful – even jovial, making it a nice and enjoyable lunch experience.
