A lovely place close to Lentas beach: Restaurant Angela’s Café (24. June 2022)
Sometimes you stumble into a good find where you didn’t expect it. I was looking for a quiet, not so known beach, and stumbled upon the Lentas Beach which is maybe 250-350 meters long, open to the public, and you don’t need to pay anything for sunbeds. So, perfect to work a bit by the sea. Luckily, there is Angela’s Café right behind it (as well as a couple of other restaurants). The place is super simple and has a super simple menu. I went for the “Greek salad” (EUR 6.00) and the “calamares” (EUR 12.00) and I must say, what a bargain. Both were great – simple, but great (well, not the French fries, but the actual calamari).
You even get a decent “mojito” (EUR 7.00) and a good “espresso” (EUR 1.50), so, really everything you need and want. That being said, the service quality varies quite a lot. One waitress, where I asked for the menu, was really not willing to serve, ready to help, or even trying to be friendly. Once the food was ready, they basically shout down to the beach informing you that it’s ready, and you’re supposed to come up, which I did. The waitress who was in charge then was super agile, friendly, and taking care of every need. So, really what you want when eating at a nice little restaurant. If you’re intending to go to Lentas Beach, you should visit Angela’s Café!
