The perfect place for an evening shisha in a relaxed atmosphere: Porta Bar (26. June 2022)
The recommendation to visit Gorgona was perfect, since, coincidentally, it was located right next to a shisha bar. And not just any shisha bar, but one which looked super appealing. That being said, I was kind of drawn into the Porta Bar to enjoy a “double apple shisha” (EUR 20.00) for a bit and just enjoy the nice weather and the sunny and warm evening.
Which is something you can easily do here since the place is lovely in terms of setup, design, and just overall. And the staff is super friendly and attentive. Only when the tables filled up and two Greek families joined the restaurant, the waiters got a bit busier (understandably so), so I finally had to get up and walk to the front to pay the bill when I wanted to leave. But other than that, the staff is friendly, attentive, and swift.
Even the shisha was prepared relatively quickly when I had asked for a double apple shisha when walking in, the waiter gladly took up the order, so, I only had to wait for about 10 minutes after being seated – which in terms of shisha timing, is quite quick.
The Porta Bar is the perfect place to sit down, enjoy a shisha or a drink, and relax into the warm summer evening! Definitely a must-visit if you like shisha!
