The ‘all-you-can-eat-spare-ribs’ night: Restaurant Turbinenbräu (26. September 2022)
It is years ago since I’ve last been to the Turbinenbräu, and I was definitely looking forward to trying it out again. I always liked the place since it has a high ceiling and is quite spacious. So, I was looking forward to the visit. What surprised me even more positively that I hit the night where there was an “all you can eat spare ribs” (CHF 39.00 / person) night. For the first serving you also get Mac’n’Cheese which was quite decent.
What truly surprised me though was the quality of the ribs! I mean, they were delicious, the meat would just peel off the bone when you touched it with a fork – it was amazing! I mean, wow, really wow! And all of that for CHF 39.00!
So, I even had to go for a third (if only half) portion! It was so good! And definitely a situation where it’s super easy to eat more than you should! But it’s worth it, since it’s super tasty!
The place is nice as always and the service is friendly and competent – and rather swift too. So, all in all, I can recommend the Turbinenbräu – and I can recommend it even more for the special “all-you-can-eat-spare-ribs-night”! Make sure to book in advance!
