The perfect place to enjoy a shisha on a rooftop: Restaurant Chifty (15. October 2022)
The name of the place somehow was a ‘turn-off’, since it sounded a bit shady. Turns out I was totally wrong. The Chifty is actually a lovely place to smoke shisha – but also a nice rooftop restaurant with live music and a bit secluded from the noisy streets of Riyadh. So, if you’re expecting to have a lovely experience, then you should definitely try the Chifty. I went for the “Double Apple Shisha Naklah” (175.00 SAR) which was great – maybe a bit too much coal, but other than that perfect.
On top of that, the service is exquisite. They are super attentive, friendly, and make sure you get your beverages (“Seasonal Pomegranate Juice” (34.00 SAR) and “San Pellegrino” (22.00 SAR)) pretty much immediately.
As mentioned, the place is quite nice to sit outside during the warm winter evenings of Riyadh and the best thing is, you don’t even have to book a table (as there is enough space, and you can also smoke inside).
All in all, the Chifty is definitely a place worth visiting, especially if you like a good shisha in the evening.
