Decent dishes if you’re in the area: Restaurant Mido (29. October 2022)
The Mido had quite high ratings, so, I decided to give it a try. To start, I went for the “summer roll (grilled salmon belly)” (EUR 4.00), which was a nice bite, and it was served quite quickly, which I always appreciate when you’re sitting down and are starving.
As a main, I went for the “fried wok with udon noodles and fried duck” (EUR 15.50) which was a bit annoying to eat with the thick udon noodles (I should have known when I ordered the dish with udon noodles instead of rice), but it was fine taste-wise and the duck was actually rich in taste plus it wasn’t the case that just the bad pieces of the duck were fried and served as you experience it quite regularly.
Frankly, since it was already the end of October and the weather was nice, sitting outside seemed like a good idea. And it generally was. However, the interior of the restaurant is quite lovely, and it’s definitely more than okay sitting down inside.
The service is swift and overall friendly. After the initial waiting time to get the menu, the service was quite fine. So, if you’re in the vicinity and are looking for a quick and tasty bite for a fair price, the Mido is a good choice.
