A decent French restaurant with good typical French dishes: Restaurant Le 154 (21. November 2022)

The Restaurant Le 154 is a nice little restaurant which offers authentic and good dishes in a nice setting. It was in the context of a work event that I spent the evening here – and, for me, the dinner started with “egg casserole with morels” which was actually surprisingly homey and enjoyable food.

As a main, I went for the “roasted cod with fresh herbs, carrot purée with coriander” which was not exactly mind-blowing but quite okay. The carrot purée was actually quite enjoyable though – and the large amount of herbs which was placed on the fish was quite exquisite.

The “warm pear soup, scoop of vanilla ice cream” was not really soup, but rather a mousse. It still was lovely, but I felt a bit cheated since I was super curious when reading the menu what a warm pear soup would be.

The place isn’t too spacious and neither are the tables. However, the dishes are good, the service is friendly and attentive – so, all in all, nothing to complain about right here and there. Nothing to remember either, but nothing to complain.
